Birth & First Days

The first days with a newborn are often intense and full of emotions. Between fatigue, new routines, and discovery, it is completely normal not to feel fully in control right away.
One of the most important pieces of advice is to give yourself time to adjust. Every baby is different, and there is no perfect routine from the beginning. Observing your baby, learning to recognize their needs, and moving forward step by step can help you experience this period with more calm and confidence.
It is also essential to keep things simple in your daily routine. Tasks like diaper changes, rest times, and basic care become easier with time. There is no need to do everything perfectly from the start.
Crying is part of a baby’s way of communicating. It can express hunger, tiredness, or simply the need for comfort. Holding your baby, gently rocking them, or speaking softly can often help soothe them.
It is equally important to listen to yourself as a parent. Feeling tired is normal, and you should not hesitate to rest whenever possible or ask for help when needed.
Each day is a learning experience. Little by little, things become more natural, and a balance begins to form, at your own pace and your baby’s.
Every beginning is a gentle learning journey, for both you and your baby.
